Hirose Mei (MEI)
Hirose Mei, known simply as Mei, was born in 2001. She is the drummer of the underground band NAjNA, celebrated for her explosive drumming style that earned her the nickname “The Hyper Engine from Osaka.”When she steps on stage, her overwhelming presence captivates the audience, shaking the entire venue with every strike of her drums.
Offstage, however, Mei reveals a different side — bold, carefree, and big-hearted. She enjoys smoking and drinking, and her language can be rough, yet behind that seemingly unrefined demeanor lies a deep sense of honesty and compassion. Though she may appear laid-back, in crucial moments she shows remarkable seriousness and dependability.
For Luna, who has just arrived in Tokyo and often feels lost, Mei is more than just a senior musician — she is like an older sister who supports her without hesitation. Even while bound by the limitations of her own debut contract, she never turns away from others and always extends her hand to help.
In the story of LUNAR EXIT, Mei is portrayed as a woman with two faces — fiery boldness and heartfelt sincerity. Her easygoing attitude brings warmth and levity to those around her, yet when the moment demands it, she becomes the unshakable heartbeat her friends rely on. Luna senses faintly that there is a shadow of an extraordinary past behind Mei’s smile — a pain she never speaks of, simply laughing it away as she charges forward through life.
